Q: Why hire a wedding planner?

A: Planners save you time, money, help keep you organized & on budget!  We will know what has to be done & when, who to contact and what vendors are the best fit for you! We will help you with design, timelines and make sure everything runs smoothly for your big day!

But we at Coastal Charm Weddings are so much more than just that! We are your creative partner, advisor, hand holder, mediator, personal guardian, protector and cheerleader!  We are by your side to take the stress of wedding planning off your shoulders so you can relax, enjoy the journey!

Q: What if you want to plan the wedding yourself?

A: Sometimes planning is half the fun and you can certainly do this! But it can also be a hassle, checking for all the vendors, making sure all the details are in place, worrying about weather you are getting the best deal, or knowing if the design and layout are actually going to work!  At Costal Charm weddings, we will work with you to handle as much or as little of your wedding as you wish & offer varying levels of services for you to choose from.

Q: Only want help to oversee and execute what you have planned for the big day? 

A: We can do that too!  Coastal Charm Weddings offers Month of Coordination that takes the last minute stress off of you. We will contact all your vendors, make a time line for the big day and be available for the rehearsal and day of to coordinate all the activities, handle any little hicups that come up, make sure you get some of those cocktail goodies while you are off doing pictures and simply be there for you behind the scenes making sure your day is everything you dreamed it would be!

Q: How do I know which wedding planner to choose? 

A: Professional credentials ensures your planner has the knowledge and training needed. Coastal Charm Weddings is a certified wedding planner with the Association of Bridal Consultants and has what it takes to manage all your wedding needs. 

Just as importantly, you need to hire someone you connect with, after all you will be spending a lot of time with this person planning one of the most important days of your life!  You should select a planner that you feel will be a partner that will understand you, your communication style, and will be true to your vision.

Q: What if your budget is tight and you are not sure you can afford a wedding planner? 

A: You will often save money and time by hiring a wedding planner to help you plan the wedding. We have creative solutions that can cut costs, advise you where not to put your dollars,  and have relationships with venues and vendors that frequently translates into lower fees for you. At Costal Charm weddings we will work with you to fit in your budget & can customize our packages to provide the services that you most need.

  • Beautiful Beaches and beach weddings are both romantic & fun. There are many magnificent beach homes for rent all up and down the grandstand and up the coast in the Brunswick islands! These can be great places to have both your beach ceremony and reception!  Is so much fun to transform a beach house into a beautiful wedding venue!! Or if you prefer, you can choose to have your ceremony on the beach and then move to one of the many hotel ballrooms, clubhouses or other reception spaces to start the party! 

 

  • The Vineyards -Who does not love a winery! These offer beautiful romantic settings, mixed w rustic elements and here in the northern end of the grand strand we are fortunate enough to be in close distance to not one, not two but four local wineries to choose from for your big day!

 

  • Hopping Beach Resort Style – Downtown  offers the giant Sky Wheel,  oceanside boardwalk & rooftop venues where you can enjoy live music and see the waves roll in below.  Head to the historic train depot, a swanky resort or head up to the elegant Grand Dunes area! Ever considered a throwback wedding with Juke Boxes, vinyl records & old fashion summer love songs – The nostalgic OD area would be so perfect for that -so much fun!

 

  • Classic Venues abound & there are so many options there will always be one to fit your style and your budget - loads of beautiful hotel ballrooms, spectacular county clubs, southern plantations with that low county feel & more!! There are so many amazing venues and all are happy to share them wiht you to consider for your big day.

 

  • Beyond the beach Be sure to check out the famous Brookwood & explore other beautiful outdoor gardens. Head inland and within minutes you are surrounded by countryside, horses & farmland, Here you will feel the peace and solitude of the country, dotted with charming rustic or historic buildings & picture perfect barns that provide extraordinary settings for your special day!
